Plastic molds are the key molding special tools for plastic products. If the quality of the mold changes, such as shape change, position movement, rough molding surface, poor contact between the clamping surfaces, etc., it will directly affect the quality of plastic products. Therefore, we must pay attention to the mold. use and maintenance.
Plastic mold maintenance is as follows:
1) Before production, check whether there are impurities and dirt in each part of the mold. Use cotton gauze to scrub the paint, impurities and dirt in the mold to remove, and remove the firmly bonded residue with a copper knife.
2) Reasonable selection of the clamping force is based on the fact that no burrs are produced when the product is formed. Excessive clamping force increases the power consumption and also easily accelerates the wear rate of the mold and transmission parts.
3) For the mold folding parts such as guide posts, push rods, return rods, and tie rods, add oil twice a day in summer and only once in winter.
4) When the full-time mold maintenance work is on duty, inspect and observe the molds in production, and deal with the problems in time. When the maintenance project is handed over, they should set sail 5~10 minutes in advance to check the production status of the molds, especially for the frequent occurrence of molds. Unqualified molds and molds with many problems should be paid more attention.
5) During production, if there is a power outage or stop due to some reasons, it will stop continuously for more than 6 hours. If the air is humid during the rainy season in the south, it is necessary to spray anti-rust oil on the forming surface, separation surface and folding surface, and stop for more than 24 hours continuously outside the rainy season. It is necessary to spray anti-rust lubricant on the forming surface, separation surface and folding and fitting surface of the mold. When storing temporarily unused molds, they should be fully cleaned before storage, sprayed with anti-rust lubricant, and closed after the mold is closed. In storage, no heavy objects can be placed on the mold.
6) Do not hit any part in the mold with a hammer to prevent knock marks or deformation.
7) The equipment is not used temporarily, but anti-rust oil should be applied to the injection mold, and the mold cannot be in a pressurized clamping state for a long time between the movable and fixed molds to prevent deformation under pressure.
